When it comes to disgusting, extreme scenes, does anything ever beat horror movies?
The genre is essentially made for the craziest, most f**ked up minds in the business to be able to vent this bizarre creativity in order to get us hiding behind our hands.
Terrifier 3 director Damien Leone is already one of the genre’s masters of this.
In Terrifier 2 he created a scene which many believe to be one of the most violent and gory in the history of film, in which a woman is slowly scalped, sliced open, her arm cut off, and then has salt poured all over her.
In Terrifier 3 however, it appears that the worst is yet to come with an actor in the film exclusively revealing how ‘extreme’ the scene he’s in is.
We spoke to Daniel Roebuck, who will be appearing as Santa in Terrifier 3, and discussed the upcoming horror flick.
When asked about the scene he is in, Roebuck said: “Well, I'll tell you this, what happens to me is so extreme that they couldn't use me to do it - they had to have other versions of me to take my place in the horror show.”
“It's three of us interplaying with Art [the Clown]. And, primarily, I guess me, interplaying with Art, the other two are dispatched quickly, and I'm the one who lasts the longest.
“Yeah, and that's not for the best for the character, you know, like the character could have taken the easy way out.”

Art Without spoiling, it’s fair to say it doesn’t appear to end well for Roebuck’s Santa Claus.
As well as the newest trailer showing Art wearing his outfit in order to terrorise a Santa’s grotto, one bit of promotional art for the film seems to give a hint to his fate.
The final poster for the film sees Art wearing Santa’s face as a necklace around his neck.
With what we know of the Terrifier movies, this can’t spell a good end for his character.

Damien Leone has warned that the opening scenes, which Roebuck confirmed is not the scene he was referring to, are absolutely brutal and shocking.
He said previously in an interview with JoBlo: “Mark my words. I guarantee you the first five minutes of this movie is going to be very controversial.
“But that's not even the big kill scene. So that's why I was like, I need to just make this movie on my own, because it's too insane.
"If you thought Art the Clown's reign of terror in part two was extreme, you haven't seen anything yet."
Terrifier 3 releases October 25.

Art the Clown is back, and this first full trailer sets up a graphic and gory time
A new trailer has dropped for a 'sadistic' horror sequel, and fans are already thinking it will outdo the previous films 'most violent and gory kill ever'.
When it comes to most violent and gory kills in cinema, there is a lot to compete with.
Whether it be Saw, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, or a more recent entry such as In a Violent Nature, there are so many horrors competing for the title.

This new trailer is for Terrifier 3, and it is so full of gore and terrifying filth that even the sickos among us might be worried what might be in the finished product.
One reply to the trailer said: "My most anticipated movie of the year looks F*CKING AWESOME!!! LFG".
Another said: "Loved the first two. We need more practical gore."
Check out the trailer and see if you also think this could end up having the most violent and gory kill ever:
One tweet in particular responded to the trailer by saying: "Really curious to see if they'll dare to do something worse than the bedroom scene in this one..."
The bedroom scene in question is one of the most controversial ever.
One YouTube channel that posted it called it 'the most violent and gory kill ever' and it is so awful we can't even put it here for you.
Follow this link though, and you'll see just how bad it is.
Taken from Terrifier 2, it involves Art scalping a young girl in her own bedroom, ripping her arm apart, slicing into her back, and then pouring salt over her and rubbing it in.

I think we can all agree, that is a fair owner of the title of most violent kill ever, and whoever came up with it may need therapy.
Discussing this scene in particular, ScreenRant said: "The Terrifier 2 bedroom scene is one of the most intense moments in an already difficult-to-stomach movie.
"Terrifier 2 quickly gained a reputation during its theatrical run for being one of the most violent and gore-filled slasher movies seen in years."
This led to reports of fans passing out or vomiting whilst watching the film.

The rumours that Terrifier 3 may be even worse, in part stem due to quotes from the director, Damien Leone.
He said in an interview with JoBlo: "Mark my words. I guarantee you the first five minutes of this movie is going to be very controversial.
"But that's not even the big kill scene. So that's why I was like, I need to just make this movie on my own, because it's too insane."
Leone has made the film independently, despite huge studio offers.
Dark secrets behind movie so graphic it was instantly banned in most countries
It starred big names like Helen Mirren and Malcolm McDowell, but it got banned in many places
In 1979, a film was released which star Helen Mirren described as 'an irresistible mix of art and genitals'.
In Italy, the film was confiscated by police as the government called it 'flagrantly obscene', while customs officials in the US seized the footage when it arrived, though they didn't declare the movie to be an obscenity.
The same thing happened when film reels of the movie were brought to the UK in 1980, with it being edited to remove the footage considered too obscene to show on screen.
Eight minutes of footage, including scenes of castration, disembowelling and rape were taken out of the movie, then another three minutes of film were cut in a process which took six months.
The film was thoroughly panned by critics and several different cuts were made with various levels of explicit content, in 1985 it became the first film with unsimulated sex scenes ever broadcast on French TV.

This movie is Caligula, a historical drama about the life of a Roman emperor, who some historical sources (written a long time after his life by people who didn't like him) claimed demanded to be worshipped as a living god and tried to appoint his horse to political office.
After four years ruling the Roman Empire he was assassinated, receiving more cuts than his movie.
The film starred Malcolm McDowell, Helen Mirren and Peter O'Toole and was packed full of sex, nudity and graphic violence.
In one scene where Mirren's character gives birth, they used three pregnant women and a team of doctors dressed up as Romans and filmed actual childbirth.
Earlier this month Caligula: The Ultimate Cut released in select cinemas to somewhat better reviews than the critical panning it got when first released.
They had about 90 hours worth of footage to work with to create the film.

While the original screenplay for the movie was penned by Gore Vidal, he later asked for his name to be taken off the production after rewrites from others put in more sex and violence.
One of the movie's producers was Bob Guccione, founder of the adult magazine Penthouse, and some of the 'Penthouse Pets' were used in the film as extras during the sex scenes.
Among the women used for these roles was British model Jane Hargrave, who claimed Guccione showed women bestiality videos and got women appearing in Caligula to perform real sex acts on camera.
With his 'Penthouse Pets', Guccione filmed a number of hardcore sex scenes to be edited into the film, leading director Tinto Brass to disown the production.

It must be awkward enough filming sex scenes in films.
Having to act sexy with a crew of 50 standing around as a greasy boom operator stares holes through the back of your head must be awkward enough, and that’s when people are pretending to have sex.
How much worse then must it be when the actual being done is done for real, and then to top it all off?
The director is your boyfriend.

Netflix has added a bonkers erotic film. (Netflix)
This is exactly the situation one actor found themselves in while filming a banned erotic thriller added to Netflix just this week.
The film, called Gandu, is an Indian film in which the erotic nature, and genuine unsimulated sexual acts, led to it being banned in several countries.
India is included in that list, where it was banned for seven years before being released on the internet.
Gandu, which translates to a*****le, focuses on a young rapper, who steals from his mother’s lover in order to buy drugs and try make it as a musician.
The young rapper, named Gandu, is played by Anubrata Basu.
In the movie he has sex with a character played by Rituparna Sen, in which they had actual unsimulated sex.
Within this, she performs oral sex on Basu, whose erect penis is shown.
Sen, who plays multiple characters in the film, was actually dating the director at the time the scene was filmed.

When asked about this, she told Open magazine: “I didn't have any problems at all. I have been a professional actress for 10 years now. It doesn't bother me if the camera is off or on.
“They were physical workshops that helped us shed our inhibitions and become real. If someone were to touch my boobs, it's natural that I'd be aroused.
“But it is the aftermath that is important. How do you feel after such a shoot? I wasn't shattered or anything after I shot Gandu.
“I was shooting lovemaking scenes with my co-actor that were being shot by my boyfriend. Now, how weird is that?"

The director, Qaushiq Mukherjee, told the Indian Telegraph of filming the scene: “For Gandu, I just told my actors Anubrata and Rii that Gandu has to get superf****d in one scene. They did the rest.”
Despite the controversies, which included some audience members reportedly walking out, Gandu has received predominantly positive reviews.
It wasn't screened in its native India for two years after its release, and then was only released online unofficially five years after that.
With a score of 68 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, Variety called it: “A high-energy example of a rarefied genre.”
Gandu is available to watch on Netflix now.

Viewers of a hit horror series have been left well and truly disturbed after watching a scene involving a tapeworm.

Fans of Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story have got used to all sorts of graphic scenes throughout the show's multiple seasons and spinoffs.
With twelve instalments of AHS and three of Stories, there's guaranteed to be something for everyone who loves a good scare.
However, some fans seem to think that episode three of the third chapter of Stories ('Tapeworm') went a little too far telling the story of an aspiring model who goes to great lengths to lose weight.
The episode tells the story of Vivian Lee Finch (Laura Kariuki), a bubbly, positive young woman who dreams of becoming a professional model.
In the opening scene, we see her walking to the renowned modelling agency ran by Sheila Klein in New York City, with the show informing the audience the episode is set in the 'not so distant past'.
Spoilers for American Horror Stories' 'Tapeworm' ahead... you've been warned!
There, Vivian is told that she is too big to book a job, with Sheila herself (played by Real Housewives star Lisa Rinna) coldly explaining that she won't ever model if she's a size 4.
Vivian is determined to get what she wants and resorts to dangerous solutions to fit into the impossible beauty standards set by the agency.
She starts taking a weight loss medication, losing weight and getting booked for jobs.
But when her newly diagnosed heart condition makes it impossible for Vivian to continue taking the drug, her doctor - Thaddeus Lau (Rob Yang) - offers her a different, disgusting solution.

That's when the tapeworm comes into play.
Vivian digests it after being told the worm would eat anything she eats. Of course, as it is often the case in the American Horror Story universe, things don't end well for the protagonist.
Not only does her personality change after she eats the worm, but she also gets extremely unwell and is ultimately killed by the creature after she pulls him out.
Viewers had strong reactions to the episode, with some grossed out by the graphic scenes, while others pointed out how the episode could be triggering for those struggling with eating disorders and body image.
