Swift, who shared her statement alongside a picture of herself with her cat from her December TIME cover, continued: “As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can....I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election.

“I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos," she explained. "I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades."

Swift also addressed AI-generated pictures shared by Trump that falsely depicted her and her fans endorsing his campaign for president. “It really conjured up my fears around AI and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter," she shared.

Fans praise Orlando Bloom after he revealed why he called Katy Perry by her real name in VMAs speech

Fans were left in shock when Orlando Bloom referred to Katy Perry by her real name during his VMAs speech.

Credit: Taylor Hill / Getty

Viewers were surprised when the 39-year-old 'Firework' singer wasn’t addressed by her stage name after receiving the Video Vanguard award at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on Wednesday, September 11.

The award, which honors lifetime achievement, was presented by her fiancé, 47-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom, who has been engaged to her since 2019.

The couple shares a four-year-old daughter, Daisy. Bloom began his speech by saying: “Give it up for our newest Video Vanguard, Katheryn Hudson,” and added, “You fell in love with her as Katy Perry, I fell in love with her as Katheryn Hudson.

Credit: Taylor Hill / Getty

"You know her as a global superstar who brings love, light and her unique sense of humour into every song she writes and every music video she creates.

"I know her as a mother, as a partner who brings that same sense of love and joy to our family.

"She loves with her whole heart and it’s kind of irresistible. Congratulations on this honour baby, I’m so proud of you."

After the touching speech, fans couldn’t believe that 'Katy Perry' wasn’t her real name.

One viewer commented: "So I’m today years old when I learned that Katy Perry’s real name is not Katy Perry… is Taylor the only artist who goes by her real name?"

Another added: “Guys I didn’t know Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry were married I was so confused on why he was calling her real name.”

A third comment read: “KATY PERRY ISN'T HER REAL NAME WHAT.”

After accepting her award, the 'I Kissed a Girl' singer joked: "Thank you, I did that all on my first day of my period, can you believe it?

"Thank you so much to MTV for believing in my weirdness from day one.

"There are so many things that have to align to have a long and successful career as an artist. There are no decades-long accidents.

"My Katy Cats, you stood by me for a lifetime and the LGBTQ community who I recognize I would not be here without.

"You showed me that you can be both kind and snatched.

"Thank you to Orlando for keeping me grounded, celebrated and doing the dishes.

"And lastly, for my Daisy, the only flower I'll ever need."

The Foo Fighters star, 55, left fans stunned this week after he took to Instagram to reveal that he had welcomed another daughter with a woman that is not his wife.

Grohl has been married to Jordyn Blum, 48, since 2003, and the couple shares three daughters, with his fourth daughter being born to an unnamed woman.

He had taken to Instagram to confirm the birth of his new baby, telling fans he is working to "regain" the trust of his wife and children after the revelation.

He wrote in his post: "I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage.

"I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness."

He added: "We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."See the post below:

Shortly after he made the post, a picture was shared online claiming to be a snap of a hand holding that of his baby.

The photo was posted to a now-deleted Instagram account, along with the caption: "My sweet Roxie Junie Grohl, being your mama has already been the most incredible experience of my life.

"Every day, I fall more in love with you and this new role. Your daddy was by my side through the entire pregnancy, making sure we were both taken care of, and I’m so grateful for his love and support."

The post continued, as cited by the New York Post: "As much as I want to share my joy with the world, I also need to protect our privacy right now. I’m happy that everyone knows about you, though, because you are such a special part of my life."

It added: "From the shape of your eyes to the way your little nose crinkles when you smile, you are truly a Grohl through and through. It’s amazing how much of him is already shining in you.

"Your dad is so proudly that you carry on his family’s spirit, and I can already tell you have that same strength and kindness in you."

After the post went viral, Grohl's team confirmed to TMZ that the page was indeed fake, and the account has since been deleted.

They later added that they had spoken with the creator of the account, who allegedly responded: "I’m sorry this was a fake page we just wanted followers! We’re minors!"

Grohl's reps had earlier told press there was no further comment at this time following the star's own statement on social media.

The 47-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actor watched as his fiancée, 39, took the stage at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on Wednesday, September 11.

On the night, the 'I Kissed a Girl' singer also received the prestigious Video Vanguard Award, which celebrates lifetime achievement.

During her speech, Perry said: “There are so many things that have to align to have a long and successful career as an artist. There are no decade-long accidents.”

While performing a medley of her biggest hits, Bloom’s reaction to Perry’s energetic dance moves, including “shaking her butt cheeks,” caught the attention of viewers, sparking a wave of amused comments online.

One person tweeted: "Okay… Orlando Bloom’s reaction to Katy Perry shaking her butt cheeks, spreading eagle, scissoring, and kissing a girl at #VMAs was pretty iconic hahaha!" Another added: "I saw that too. The cameraman didn’t miss."

A third fan wrote: "He looks so stunned."

Many also joked that despite being engaged since 2019 and sharing a four-year-old daughter, Bloom seemed unfamiliar with Perry's songs.

One viewer commented: "Orlando Bloom is reacting to this performance as if he's never heard a single Katy Perry song before what is going on."

Another quipped: "Orlando Bloom does not know a single Katy Perry song. Did you see his face?" referencing Bloom’s past comment about falling in love with "Katheryn," Perry's real name, rather than her music

Bloom previously explained on the What Now? with Trevor Noah podcast: “Her music was everywhere… when I came up, it was just on every radio station. But I wasn't conscious of it... it wasn't what I was listening to. I fell in love with... Katheryn, this girl from Santa Barbara."

Perry recently shared on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper that she rewards Bloom for doing household chores, stating: “If I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean, and you’ve done it all, and you’ve done all the dishes, and you’ve closed all the pantry doors, you better be ready to get your d**k sucked. I mean like literally. That is my love language."

It’s clear the couple’s spark is still very much alive.

Shannon Sharpe admits accidental live stream while having sex was not a hack: 'Disappointed in myself'

By Kim Novak

Shannon Sharpe has spoken out after he accidentally live-streamed during an X-rated moment with a female.

The Pro Football Hall of Famer and ESPN star, 56, left fans stunned after he went live on Instagram to his 3.2 million followers by accident.

Almost 5,000 people tuned in to his live before realising that the podcaster had actually switched it on by accident while having sex, after hearing him and a female companion moaning.

Sharpe had initially put out a statement claiming his account had been hacked, but later deleted it and confessed that the accident had indeed been him.

Viewers had clipped the footage and shared it online, and although Sharpe and his unnamed companion were not visible in the video, moans could be heard throughout.

His fans flooded the comments to voice their shock, and many urged any of his friends watching to call Sharpe and make him aware that he was streaming his bedroom antics to the public.

After his sexual encounter was made public, Sharpe had initially posted on X to tell fans he was hacked, before later confessing it was really down to his lack of technical knowledge that the awkward incident occurred.

Speaking during an emergency episode of Nightcap, Sharpe addressed the situation, admitting: "Obviously I am embarrassed. Someone that is extremely, extremely private and to have one of your most intimate details – the audio – heard for the entire world to hear, I’m embarrassed for a number of reasons.

"There are a lot of people that count on Shannon to be professional at all times and I always try to be professional at all times, even when I’m behind closed doors."

He added: "I’m very disappointed in myself, not for the act. I think there are millions and billions of people of consenting age that engage in activities, but for the audio to be heard I’m disappointed in myself. I let a lot of people down."

Revealing how he accidentally went live, Sharpe said: "I threw my phone on the bed, engaged in an activity.

"I did not know IG live. I’ve never turned IG live on so I don’t know how it works and all of sudden my other phone started going off."

Sharpe's marketing partner Jamie Fritz was the first person to get ahold of him and alerted him of what was happening, before another person eventually ended the live video for him.

He added: "My phone wasn’t hacked. It wasn’t a prank, it was me being a healthy, active male. Ya’ll thought I was bulljiving, Unc get it in."

His co-host, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, also revealed that Sharpe - whose nickname is 'Unc' - has never been great with his phone and has butt-dialed him several times in the past without knowing it.

Johnson also made light of the situation, adding: "I’m baffled. I never thought I’d see the day where you, Unc, would pull something so out of character.

"A little unprofessional. I’m not mad, I’m thoroughly disappointed because I hold you to a higher standard. The type of standard you just tried to chastise me for just Saturday. So this has really sent me into a complete shock."

Thankfully, it seems Sharpe is able to see the lighter side of the situation - and that the phone wasn't angled in a more incriminating direction!

Jon Bon Jovi helps save woman from jumping off bridge in heart-stopping police footage

Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi recently demonstrated that his heroism extends beyond the stage when he helped save a woman’s life in Nashville.

Credit: Neil P. Mockford / Getty

In a dramatic moment caught on camera, Jon persuaded a distressed woman to step away from the ledge of the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The 'Livin' on a Prayer' singer was in Nashville filming a music video when the incident occurred. According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, the event took place on Tuesday night as Jon and his team were working on the bridge.

Video footage shows Jon approaching the woman, who was perched on the bridge's edge overlooking the Cumberland River.

Accompanied by a member of his entourage, Jon calmly and compassionately leaned over the railing, speaking to the woman and slowly coaxing her back from danger.

He then pulled her to safety and provided comfort in a moment that could have ended tragically.

Nashville Police responded quickly, and Chief John Drake commended Jon’s quick and compassionate response. The department also acknowledged Jon’s actions on social media, thanking him and his team for their role in bringing the woman to safety.

This emotional rescue is another testament to Jon Bon Jovi’s commitment to helping others, a quality he has consistently shown throughout his career. Known not just for his music but also for his charitable endeavors, Jon has sold over 120 million records since forming his namesake band in 1983.

Earlier this year, Jon shared that he is gradually returning to live performances after undergoing a rare throat surgery in June 2022.

The successful vocal fold medialization procedure has allowed him to reclaim his iconic voice.

In a recent interview with AARP, Jon humbly acknowledged his slow but steady recovery, noting that performing live remains central to his career.

Jon has been candid about his fears and frustrations following his surgery, revealing how deeply the possibility of losing his voice impacted him.

With characteristic integrity, he emphasized his refusal to lip-sync or use Auto-tune during live performances, saying he'd rather "get hit by a bus on the highway."

Fellow musician Shania Twain connected Jon with her vocal surgeon, Dr. Robert Sataloff, who guided him through his recovery.

Dr. Sataloff praised Jon’s exceptional work ethic and reminded fans that his vocal challenges were a natural part of aging.

Elon Musk's daughter responds to his 'creepy' tweet about Taylor Swift: 'Heinous incel nonsense'

Elon Musk's daughter has issued a scathing response to her father's "creepy" post about Taylor Swift.

On Tuesday night (September 10), former United States President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris had their first presidential debate held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.

After the end of the fiery 90-minute debate, the 34-year-old 'Karma' songstress took to her Instagram to publicly endorse the Democratic candidate.

“As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can...I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election," Swift announced.

The 'Love Story' singer shared her statement alongside a picture of herself with her cat from her December TIME cover.

Speaking to her 284 million followers, she wrote that the 59-year-old would be the “warrior” to fight for the rights and causes she believes in.

The Grammy-winning star then wrote that she did her "research" and encouraged her fans to do the same, before signing off with “Childless cat lady,” a reference to remarks made by Republican vice-presidential candidate JD Vance.

Following Swift's endorsement, X owner Elon Musk took to the social media platform to send a "creepy" public message to the artist, writing: "Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life."

Many people were left disturbed by his response, including his trans daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson, who took to Instagram Threads to share her thoughts.

The 20-year-old wrote: “The timing for the Taylor Swift endorsement could not have been better. Can’t wait to see the Swifties at the polls! Vote blue," before following the post up with commentary on her father’s unsettling message.

"Also, yes, I saw ‘the tweet'. Heinous incel nonsense is in fact heinous incel nonsense," she said. "I don’t really have anything to add to it, it’s just abhorrent. That much is obvious and if you don’t see how then you’re part of the problem.”

She added: "I would just like to say to my audience members, don’t let people talk to you like that. It’s disgusting, it’s belittling, and incredibly sexist. You deserve better.”

Wilson, who became estranged from her father due to her transition, has become increasingly vocal this year following her father's appearance on Jordan Peterson’s podcast.

During the podcast, the Space X founder remarked that his daughter had been “killed by the woke mind virus,” to which Wilson responded he is "desperate for attention and validation from an army of degenerate red-pilled incels and pick-mes who are quick to give it to him".

She also said that the father-of-12 had been absent all her life and was a “serial adulterer” who had been hostile to her for being feminine.

“I think he was under the assumption that I wasn’t going to say anything and I would just let this go unchallenged,” she said, per Daily Beast. “Which I’m not going to do, because if you’re going to lie about me, like, blatantly to an audience of millions, I’m not just gonna let that slide.”
