US rapper Fatman Scoop has died aged 53 after collapsing at a concert on Friday.
The musician, real name Isaac Freeman III, had been performing at a show in Hamden, Connecticut on 30 August when he took ill and collapsed on stage.
Freeman's tour manager Birch Michael, known as Pure Cold, has since shared a tribute to the rapper on Instagram, which reads: "It is with the heaviest of hearts I announce the passing of Isaac Freeman III, known professionally as Fatman Scoop.
"You taught me how to be the man I am today. I love you Scoop, thank you so much for everything you gave to me."
"I am honestly lost for words," he added in the caption. "You took me all over the world and had me performing alongside you on some of the biggest and greatest stages on this planet, the things you taught me have truly made me the man I am today.

Freeman's talent agency MN2S has also released a statement on the rapper's passing, which reads: "Scoop was a beloved figure in the music world, whose work was loved by countless fans across the globe.
"His iconic voice, infectious energy and great personality made an indelible mark on the industry, and his legacy will live on through his timeless music."
Concerns were raised about Freeman's health last night, with video footage showing the rapper struggling to breathe after he climbed the steps to the DJ booth on stage, just moments after he had addressed the crowd.
As Freeman was rushed away for medical treatment, the other artists at the show attempted to reassure the crowd. Hamden mayor Lauren Garrett later confirmed that Freeman had been taken to hospital after the incident.

Mike Tyson speaks out after suffering medical emergency on board plane before Jake Paul fight
Mike Tyson began to feel 'nauseous and dizzy' on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles
Mike Tyson has given fans an update on his health after suffering a medical emergency ahead of his fight with Jake Paul.
It was previously revealed that the 57-year-old boxing icon had begun feeling 'nauseous and dizzy' while on board a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on Sunday 26 May, while crew asked if there was a doctor on the flight who could help him.
Tyson's representatives later told The New York Post that he had become unwell due to an 'ulcer flare-up' 30 minutes before landing, with the boxer receiving medical treatment from paramedics once the flight landed.
"He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him," his rep added.
Previous reports from In Touch revealed that cabin crew had issued an announcement to ask for a doctor just 30 minutes before landing, with a message even popping up on passengers' screens.
A passenger on the flight also revealed they'd been asked to stay on board while paramedics treated Tyson, adding: "[The stewardess] said something like, 'He's a really important passenger so we wanna make sure he's okay.'
"I knew it was him, but I just mouthed the words 'Mike Tyson' and she nodded her head yes."
Tyson has now broken his silence to share an update on his health, telling fans on X that he was 'feeling 100 percent' after the health scare.

"Now feeling 100 percent even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul," he wrote.
The boxer will next step into the ring to face off against YouTuber turned boxer Paul on Saturday 20 July in Arlington, Texas, with the fight set to be streamed on Netflix.
Following the fight's announcement there had been criticism online about the age gap between the two fighters. Tyson will be 58 at the time of the bout, while Paul is 31 years his junior at 27 years old.
Paul has a record of 9-1, with his only loss being against Tommy Fury in 2023. Tyson's record is 50-6.
Fans were left even more concerned after seeing a clip of Tyson in training, however judging by Iron Mike's most recent update, he's confident in his abilities to beat Paul.
He is a boxing legend, after all.

Speaking about the fight after it was announced back in March, Tyson said: “I'm very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT&T stadium in Arlington, Texas.
“He's grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a 'kid' can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT.
“It's a full circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch; as I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones and now I plan to finish him.”Featured Image Credit: Cooper Neill/Getty Images for Netflix/Sarah Stier/Getty Images for Netflix

Man handed £100 parking fine after forgetting to register car details during medical emergency
Allen Whitehead was fined £100 after he parked for 13 minutes at Colne Valley Group Practice in Yorkshire
A driver who found himself issued with a £100 parking fine after he rushed to the doctors for urgent treatment says he has no intention of paying up.
Yorkshireman Allen Whitehead was handed a £100 charge when he went to the doctors suffering with carbon monoxide poisoning and forgot to register the car for parking.
Now, he says he ‘won’t be bullied’ into settling the fine.
Yorkshire Live
The 62-year-old says that he didn’t log the registration of his car when he arrived at the Colne Valley Group Practice in Slaithwaite, West Yorkshire on March 25 2022.
He put that lapse in his memory down to his illness, stating that he was later diagnosed with carbon monoxide poisoning and is still recovering from the effects.
His car was parked at Globe Mill for 13 minutes, which was long enough for him to be sent a letter from company Parkingeye requesting a payment of £100 for a ‘parking charge’ relating to their client, Colne Valley Group Practice.
The letter explained that they issue the parking charges to anyone who uses the car park without entering their registration at a terminal located within the reception of the medical facility.
Yorkshire Live
However, Mr Whitehead says that he ignored the letter from Parkingeye because he was very ill, but started to receive other letters from a debt collection agency, as well as a legal firm who issued a claim of £266 against him in the county court.
Mr Whitehead, who has worked in road haulage, requested to have a hearing at the county court and filled in a box on a court form in his defence.
He’s explained that he was very ill, forgot to enter his registration, and said that the car park should be a ‘public car park’ during the hours of the surgery, rather than being under a private company.
Whitehead wrote himself down as an ‘expert witness’ and said: "I am an expert of over 35 years in road traffic law."
He says that he hasn’t heard back from the court, and now considers the matter to be closed and the case to have ‘timed out’.
The last letter that he received was a reduction in the charge to £20, but he hasn’t paid that either.
He claims to have been angered by the correspondence he’s received and at the fact he’s paid £25 on postage while dealing with the whole saga.
What’s more, he claims it has taken a lot of his time.
Yorkshire Live
"I will not be bullied or intimidated by no one,” he said.
He has written to the practice to let them know how he feels about it all, too.
In total, the whole thing has taken 17 months to sort, but he doesn’t think others should adopt his approach.
"I would say it will be less stressful to bite the bullet and pay it,” he explained.
Kirsty Hull, the practice manager at the Colne Valley Group Practice, said: "I cannot comment on the specifics of the case as the dispute that Mr Whitehead has/had is with Parkingeye and not the surgery.
"As you are aware parking is a premium in Slaithwaite and we have limited spaces at the surgery. The car park is managed to ensure that our patients are able to park when they visit us.
"There are signs in the car park, in the waiting room, a message on our phone line and also in confirmation text messages advising patients to enter their registrations.
"We always provide assistance to patients if they need help using the registration portal. If a patient receives a fine following a visit to the surgery and they raise this with us in a timely fashion, then we will contact Parkingeye to help get it resolved."Featured Image Credit: Yorkshire Live

People cringe as Blink-182 invites fan on stage only for huge mistake to happen
The fan froze on stage in an embarrassing incident during Blink-182's concert in Columbus, Ohio
In what is pure nightmare fuel, a Blink-182 fan hopped on stage to help the band out with one of their classics - and it didn't go well.
The unnamed fan was invited to belt out 2001 hit 'First Date' in front of thousands of other concert goers, but unfortunately the pressure got a bit too much.
To be fair, singing in public is nerve-racking stuff; bad enough in a karaoke booth, never mind on stage with one of your favourite bands.

The horror event took place during a Blink-182 gig in Columbus, Ohio earlier this week, as the band kindly gave a young fan the unique opportunity to get up on stage with them and sing 'First Date'.
First appearing 23 years ago on the album Take Off Your Pants And Jacket, the tune is one of the American band's more iconic songs.
The fan gets up on stage and is given the microphone, and the iconic guitar riff that is meant to intro the vocals was met by... nothing, at first.
Bassist and co-lead vocalist Mark Hoppus offered some looks and nods of encouragement to the young lady, who started to sing out of key, and what bizarrely seemed to be the words to a different song, thought to be 'All The Small Things'.
Hoppus even tried to lead her with the lyrics, but it was no use - though guitarist and co-lead vocalist Tom DeLonge was loving the show though, smiling and laughing at the situation, while still trying to encourage the fan to get into it.
DeLonge was even seeing trying to hold his laugh in while singing into the microphone, as the fan remained on stage without contributing much to the song.
She then gave the microphone to the guitarist as she continued to struggle with the words, as DeLonge continued with the show as one of the most awkward music tour moments stretched on, while the fan remained like a deer in headlights on stage.

The incident happened as part of the last show on the US leg of the band's One More Time tour, that kicked off on 20 June.
Now, Blink-182 will head to the UK ahead of the Reading and Leeds festivals this month, which they are headlining, along the likes of other iconic music acts, such as Liam Gallagher and Lana Del Rey.
Not only are the band headlining though, this will be their first time playing the festival since headlining in 2014.
The clip has since gone viral, with fans taking to TikTok to share their thoughts on the situation.
One said: "She was singing 'All The Small Things' instead of 'First Date', girl was creating her own Blink mash up medley!"
Another added: "I WAS THERE you guys it was so much worse in person."
A third commented: "Tom's Reaction, he's cracking up," they said with a laughing emoji.
Lesson learnt for her then, in the most brutal manner.
